I teach Vinyasa yoga, meaning that movement flows with the breath. Classes consist of warm ups, sun salutations, a mixture of standing and seated poses, restorative postures, and a final rest in Savasana. Many of my classes are aimed at beginners or have a gentle pace.
I also teach a monthly Yoga Nap. This class combines restorative yoga and the practice of yoga nidra, or yogic sleep. In restorative yoga, gentle, usually propped poses are held for several minutes to fully melt into relaxation. Yoga nidra is a guided meditation. The combination of the two practices creates the ultimate relaxation experience!
